SURRENDER

Lesson 2

We are so use to limiting ourselves by our beliefs about who we are that the radiance of who we really are doesn't have a chance to shine.

To be who we completely are, we must surrender our limiting idea of who we "think" we are.

Surrender is a very misunderstood concept. We tend to think of surrender as giving up, quitting or losing. Surrender is not a form of behavior. It is the absence of behavior. Surrender is not about doing. It is the absence of doing.

Surrender is an openess and a willingness to receive, to allow a part of us greater than who we "think" we are to operate in a given situation.

Surrender is giving up control but not losing power. In fact, surrender gets us to the Source of our power.

Surrender is setting aside our thoughts and beliefs, what we know or think we know to receive. Surrender is letting go of what we think we know so we can find out what we really know.

Surrender is being willing to take in more--more information, more love, more support, more independence, more freedom, more money, more Bliss--more God.

Until we surrender our limiting point of view or perspective, there is not room for more. And, why not surrender? In the end, who are we actually surrendering to?
