STUCK IN A BOX

More often than I care to admit, I have to give myself a little nudge (sometimes, a BIG one) and remind myself when one of my beliefs "has me."

Like everyone else, I was taught the "rules" of cause and effect and I bought them hook, line and sinker. I have spent years waking up from that coma, but once in a while I get amnesia. I forget that I am creating the "now" right now and that "now" is not determined by ANY event, action or idea that appeared to have happened in the past or is suppose to happen in the future.

I forget that I am not this limited human being. I forget who I really am.

Freedom exists and magic happens when we choose or allow from the infinite number of possibilities that are available instead of accepting what we "think" in our limited minds is possible.

What would happen if you took the viewpoint that you were the Creator of your life and stood back viewing it rather than being caught up in it?

Notice how you view the above "man in a box."

Notice how you are out "here" and he is in "there."

Can you view your life in the same way?

From this perspective, you are not the puppet. You are the puppeteer.

From this perspective, ANYTHING is possible.

You are choosing to express Consciousness through this being you call "yourself" but "yourself" is not all that you are.

This body that you have installed THE Consciousness in is the ship, but you, the real you, is the Commander.

We are all connected because there is only ONE Awareness. Omnipotent and omnipresent, we, THE Awareness, is occurring in an infinite number of expressions. The human "you" is one of those expressions but it is not all that "you" really are.

Try this, using as much imagination as you need, feel yourself as a huge domed object hovering over the Earth.

Feel yourself growing to four or five times larger than the Earth.

Now, feel thousands of thin electrical like "energy wires" emanating from you and reaching through the top of the head of every man, woman and child on this planet. Feel these "energy wires" as the source, feeding life force, into each of these human beings.

Now, feel more "wires" extending from you into every plant and animal on the planet.

Now, feel even more "wires" extending from you into everything on this planet, desks, rocks, everything.

Take your time and really experience this feeling.

Now, feel you, the domed object, backing away from the Earth and becoming increasingly larger and larger.

Feel yourself extending beyond other planets and the Sun and feel your thin "energy wires" extending out to the Sun, each planet and to each star.

Now back away even further. Feel your domed exterior dissolve and the "energy wires" replaced by pure energy. Give that same life force through that energy to every planet and star in every solar system and galaxy that exists.

Feel the expanse of the Consciousness that you are and feel yourself breathing life energy into everyone and everything, everywhere.

From this expanded state, YOU/I/WE are the Creator of it all.

From this expanded state, realize that being in or out of any "box" is simply a matter of perception and a matter of choice.

Or, as Deepak Chopra writes;

I am not my atoms, they come and go.

I am not my thoughts, they come and go.

I am not my ego, my self-image changes.

I am above and beyond these: I am the witness, the interpreter, the Self beyond self-image.

The Self is ageless and timeless.

And, I will add...

The Self is limitless.
