I was talking with my mom tonight. We were in a rather lengthy conversation.
In the middle of it she said, "wait a minute, honey, hold on, I think I hear water running."
She reminded me that I had been filling my front pond with water and I immediately went to
shut off the hose. The water had reached exactly the brim of the pond, the place right
before it would have overflowed bringing loads of dirt and debris into the pond and I
would have had to drain it and start all over again. "No big deal," you say?
Not magic? Well for me it absolutely was. You see, my mom was in Seattle, I was in
Hawaii and we were talking on the phone!
